This is an open call for submissions of poetry, prose, photography, and visual art by teenagers currently residing in Spokane, Washington. Chosen submissions will be featured in the art and literary journal Riverside Storybook.
If you're between grades 6th -12th and currently living in Spokane (this includes Spokane Valley and all of Spokane County), you may submit:
- poetry of all types
- writing (prose, short stories, creative nonfiction, paragraphs, and prose poems)
- photography (digital and scanned film)
- visual art (digitally submitted paintings, drawings, mixed media, photographs of sculpture, and graphic design)
You may submit as many pieces as you like, but keep in mind we rarely accept more than three pieces per person. You will have to go through the submission process each time for each work, so please copy/paste your bio and information.
It is not guaranteed that any or all of your work will be accepted.
